Resumo

The increasing emphasis on body aesthetics has driven the development of harmonization techniques, with particular focus on the gluteal region, which plays a key role in body proportion and silhouette harmony. This study aims to analyze the main gluteal harmonization techniques, as well as their associated complications and clinical management strategies. The theoretical framework is based on the anatomy of the gluteal region and the most commonly used therapeutic approaches, including autologous fat grafting, silicone implants, fillers, and collagen biostimulators. The methodology consists of a qualitative literature review based on recent scientific studies addressing efficacy, safety, and adverse events. The results indicate that autologous fat grafting demonstrates high efficacy and natural outcomes, being considered the gold standard, while minimally invasive techniques show favorable results and rapid recovery. Conversely, permanent materials are associated with a higher risk of late complications. The most commonly reported adverse events include seroma, infection, nodules, and necrosis, with severe complications often related to improper technique. The discussion highlights the importance of anatomical knowledge, individualized planning, and the selection of the subcutaneous plane to enhance safety. It is concluded that gluteal harmonization, when performed based on scientific evidence, yields safe and effective outcomes.
